📱 The AIUCD 2026 companion is not just a website you open on the fly: you can install it on your phone like a real app, in seconds and without going through the App Store or Play Store. How to install it (in 30 seconds)
The first step is the same for everyone: open the companion on your phone at aiucd2026.unica.it/companion. From there only one detail changes, depending on whether you have an Android phone or an iPhone.
On Android (Chrome)
- Open the companion in Chrome.
- Tap the orange “Install” button that appears at the top. If you don’t see it, open the ⋮ menu (top right) and choose “Install app” (sometimes “Add to Home screen”).
- Confirm: the AIUCD 2026 icon shows up among your apps, just like any other.
On iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Open the companion in Safari (on iPhone the install only works from Safari, not from Chrome).
- Tap the Share button at the bottom: the little square with an arrow pointing up.
- Scroll the menu and tap “Add to Home Screen”, then “Add” at the top right.
Done. From now on the companion opens full screen when you tap its icon, exactly like an app downloaded from the store.
